• Yes. It will work with any backend carrier as long as you have appropriate connectivity for it back to your primary network. That can be hardwire or wireless.

• It should. The best way would be to use the word button on your router to discover your device. Follow the instructions . One of them should work.

• I also live in a somewhat rural area i only can get DSL. I bought this when 2 couples came to visit each having smart phones I would recommend I have no problems where at one time I did. Good luck

• I have Verizon DSL and it works great so I would expect the same with AT&T DSL.
