YES! This was one of our issues. We have the Xfinity X1 platform. The modem/router combo provided by Comcast, couldn't handle all the devices in our home. Soon as we hooked up the Nighthawk, ALL problems solved!!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have Comcast, but use my own modem. The Netgear - Nighthawk X6 AC3200 Tri-Band Router should work with any modem. I would suggest asking a Comcast rep if you have any doubts.
