Yes it can. While recording the rear camera view will overlay on the front camera view, but there will be 2 separate videos for front and rear.

This means that for every recorded time period, two files will be produced; one front and one rear. E.g. if you record a clip at 08:51, there will one x 1 minute front camera clip and one x 1 minute rear camera clip.
