• You should have a SD card to let it work.. and not just an ordinary SD card, but the one built for dashcam.

• Great question! You do need to use an SD card to record on the dash cam. We recommend using a Nextbase branded SD card as they have been specifically tested and designed to work optimally with the demand our dash cams put on the dash cam.
