Can you add an external hard drive for more back up? null

I, personally, have NOT added an additional hard drive ,,, however the instructions mention the ability to install a larger hard drive. I know that doesn't really answer your question as to "adding" a hard drive but the system does offer the option of having a larger hard drive.
