The AF-P DX 10-20mm may not be fully compatible with your D3300 and may require a firmware update downloaded from Nikon. However, the same thing is true with the latest version of the AF-P 18-55mm lens. Either AF-P lens is a technology improvement over the original lens, although the original version with VR is still a great lens for the money.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it does work with the 3300.No limitations.the 18-55 is a kit lens, the 10-20 is a wide angle lens.you would probably do better with the 18-55.less money the 18-55.unless your shooting real estate interiors where you are trying to fit the whole room in one shot,or taking a group photo where you are trying to get everyone in the frame.the 10-20 isn't good for portraits.maybe landscapes, but the 18-55 will do all of that.A 50mm lens is a prime lens, good all around lens.you could probably get the 55mm and the 18-55 for what you are paying for the 10-20'
