The Nikon D3400 DSLR camera has a continuous shooting option that allows you to get up to 5 frames per second. There are also settings and modes that will allow you to freeze motion. Placing the camera in "P" mode and choosing a low f-number will help you to freeze motion. You can also try placing it in "S" Mode which will allow you to choose a faster (low f-number) shutter speed; the camera will then automatically adjust aperture for optimal exposure. There is also an option of "Sports Mode" which chooses all the settings for you and automatically puts it in the continuous shooting setting.
