Each plate is roughly 6" x 8". Kind of resembles a broiler pan with slats in it for air circulation. Sits up maybe 3/4" from bottom of basket. Basically can fit a steak in each side although only left side has temp probe.

Fits well in small space, it does require space for  draws to be pulled out. But depending works great in small spaces

Each Tray is roughly 6 inch x 8 inch with rounded corners.

There are no cooking plates! It’s a basket with a lift to help the air circulate. That’s what makes the food crispy. It’s not a grill. It’s gray for fries, heating up wings, things you want super crispy. Hope that helps
