What happens to the grease? Is there a pan to empty? null

Yes there is a pan it drains into. I purchased some foil lined bags for grease and oil from amazon. I just pour it into that! I filled up my grease jars and then some. This is a great alternative.

There is a pan to catch the grease in the bottom. Both the grill rack and the fryer basket slot into it.
