“When heated, PTFE (Teflon) can produce fumes that are rapidly lethal to pet birds. Do any of the included parts, pans, trays, or accessories included with this unit contain PTFE? I am trying to be a responsible pet owner.”

All the parts and accessories for the unit are PTFE free. However, since the respiratory system of birds is delicate, it is advisable not to use the unit near birds.
