“I would like to hook this up to the DVD player that is built into my car so my kids can play on road trips. the player has the RCA input but I tried a HDMI to RCA converter and it will not play. Any suggestions? Has anyone done this?”

• then get the older one with the RCA connectors , or find it on amazon

• It is a known issue that HDMI to RCA converters rarely work with this. You MIGHT try calling Nintendo support to see if they have a make/model they recommend - or at least have heard some people have had success with. Otherwise, it will be a buy one try it, return it, try another, until you find one that works.
