The ability of storing apps on an SD card isn't determined by the manufacturer, it's determined by the operating system. You can go to android.com to see each if Pie allows this, but my answer (based on newer released handsets are now equipped with 128GB internal storage, like the Nokia 9) would be no. I have to admit, the storage of the operating system, since it's bare-bones Android Pie, doesn't take up a lot of room and I use about 50 additional apps. My internal storage, all inclusive, is 20.7GB out of 64GB as of right now. I store photos and videos on an SD card. So I still have 2/3 of my internal storage available even with the 50 apps installed. I hope this helps. PS - The Nokia 7.1 is phenomenal in every way.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There does not appear to be a way to install apps to the SD card. Since this is a pure Android phone, I have to assume that feature was removed with Oreo or Pie.
