Questiondoes the best buy App work for these drops? I literally never seem to get past the "please wait" part on it

- Answer For me the app doesn't work, I noticed that when you click the "add to cart" to enter the que the button (please wait) never refreshed. When you use the website the please wait button has a little sign showing that it is refreshing. I stopped using the app after the first few drops, and was finally able to get a gpu.

QuestionWhat is the power supply requirement for this card?

- Answer I personally would not run this card with lower than a 750W PSU, but that is me. Looks like the TDP is 320W, so depending on the rest of your setup, 650W should probably be considered the minimum. Please do not skimp on the PSU, it often gets overlooked. If someone can afford a $700 card, they should already have a proper PSU budgeted.

QuestionHow often does the RTX 3080's come in stock? I have yet to see them be in stock on any platform since their release. I would really like to purchase one in the very near future.

- Answer Drops tend to happen every 2 weeks either tuesday or Thursday and randomly fridays. Your best bet is to have this saved for later and camp on the cart page at around 8am-12pm for your best chance on the days I've specified

QuestionWhenever I manage to get one in my cart it refuses to let me ship to any BestBuy within 250 miles of me or directly to me. What gives? Is this utter nonsense made worse by the store region locking the supply or something?

- Answer PREACH! I've had the same thing happen. Sat through months of this nonsense with waiting for the button to change back to add to cart. Finally get a card in my cart and they won't ship the ONLY ONLY product to my house. They require me to pick it up at a store. OH but small problem like you they won't ship to any store in my state or any state surrounding me.

- Answer Yes. Best buy periodically announces in person event, but they are few and far. I waited when they announced one in mid july. Got there at midnight and waited till open. I was able to get a 3080ti

- Answer Usually once every 2 weeks on Tuesdays or Thursdays(sometimes other days) around noon or earlier. There’s Twitter/Twitch accounts you can follow that will give you alerts on restocks.

- Answer It was seeming to be on a two week interval on tuesday. So if they released some this past tues(im not sure, youd have to ask around to see what day they last released stock) it would be not the next tues but the following. The times ive seen the drops were anywhere from 9am-1pm est. I think they check and inventory their stock then presell them to be shipped to the best buy closest to the customer for pick up. Im not 100% sure if its still this way but that was the pattern through dec and up until i purchased one in early jan. They dropped some the week of christmas and i got mine ordered two weeks later on the 5th of january. hope this helps! best buy is definitely the place to get one compared to any other online retailer.

- Answer they don't seem to sell them here at least not in a few weeks. BestBuy is kinda of a mom n pop store now not much too them sorta a shell..Your better off with newegg or amazon.

- Answer GPU Core Base: 1440MHz GPU Core Boost: 1710MHz GPU Memory: 9251MHz (although this can easily be OCed much higher if you’re okay with the temps)

- Answer My only suggestion: Watch a stock-checking stream as often as possible, and get to know the schedules that they tend to do drops. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkjGC16t4fc&t=0s it's not easy, but it's possible. It's how I got mine.

- Answer They check your location and only allow you to add to cart if there are stores near you with stock available. Wish I could find a way to check when this product is in stock. I haven't seen it ever since it came out.

- Answer More than likely you will need to check out the 3080 requirements on nvidia's page to see if you need to upgrade. However, the 3080 is a power hungry graphics card so a beefy power supply may be needed.

- Answer Reviewers have done the research on the 3080 and 3090 with that CPU and there wasn't any issues with bottle-necking (maybe the 3090 had 2% lower) so im sure the 3070 will be just fine.

Questionwill pcie 3.0 even be like a choice for these cards or should i just go get a 2080 because im not getting a new motherboard for a card i dont even know if i can even get in the next year

- Answer According to benchmarks by Gamers Nexus, PCIe 3.0 should work almost exactly as well PCIe 4.0. The generational gap is not NEARLY large enough to warrant the hype. Your motherboard should be just fine.
