“Whenever I manage to get one in my cart it refuses to let me ship to any BestBuy within 250 miles of me or directly to me. What gives? Is this utter nonsense made worse by the store region locking the supply or something?”

PREACH! I've had the same thing happen. Sat through months of this nonsense with waiting for the button to change back to add to cart. Finally get a card in my cart and they won't ship the ONLY ONLY product to my house. They require me to pick it up at a store. OH but small problem like you they won't ship to any store in my state or any state surrounding me.
