“How big of a space do i need to play? I see in the commercials someone in close spaces but all my experiences with VR required you to be in a more open area.”

You can actually view videos and play some games, sitting down. For moving games, they recommend, at least, a 6 foot square. I only had about a 5 1/2 ft square. It worked, but I ended up punching the wall, 1 time (then stopped) So, bigger is better.
