- Answer yes, you need a PC for the Oculus Rift because it's basically 2 computer screens, one in each eye. And you need 4 USB ports, which I don't know of anythign else that has them.

- Answer It comes with 2 oculus touch controllers, but not the actual oculus remote. Though you don't need the oculus remote to play, it is just an extra accessory if you're willing to spend the money.

- Answer You need a mid to high-end PC with windows 10 to use the Oculus rift. It doesn't work with tablets or cell phones. Oculus also makes a standalone VR called the "Oculus Go". Do some research on that. Might be something of interest.

QuestionMy 11 year old son has asked for this for Christmas. Can anyone suggest a reasonably priced out of the box laptop or CPU that I could purchase without having to buy graphic cards etc...

- Answer You are going to have a bad experience playing this without a good computer/graphics card. I'm sure it can be done, but in my experience, without one, you will likely lag, and lag will cause nausea.

- Answer Your system needs to meet the minimum requirements. The easiest way is to visit the Oculus support website and download the Compatibility check tool. Be sure you have enough powered USB ports, it uses a lot.

QuestionSo I've done the compatibility tests. The only thing that doesn't meet the requirements is my graphics card. I have a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 with 2GB Ram. The only problem I see is the 2GB instead of 4. Would I still be able to run everything?

- Answer I was running on an older I7 processor with a 1050 video card with 2 gb of ram. As long as graphics options weren’t set high, it should run it. I did manage to upgrade computer system and I do see a big improvement. You may have some problems on some of the more graphic intense games, but the simple games should run fine.

- Answer Games mine came with that are tied to my side account profile, no they will not share across other oculus account uses on the same pc, were the following: Robo Recall, iN Nesiun, Dead and Vuried, Toy Box and some other demo ganes that are free on the oculus store.

- Answer You need a PC. This does not connect directly to an Xbox. If on the same network, you can stream your Xbox through your PC onto the Oculus.

- Answer i bought the parts and built my own. Get an i5 or i7. Get minimum 16GB RAM or more. Get an SSD. and Get a good video card; i have the GTX980Ti and it runs all the games great. You can get by with a 1060, but get a step or 2 up if you can swing it.
