It’s super easy. I did the same thing. You need abs SSD, Sata cable, and a tray. It’s super easy to instal and setup. You can google how to transfer the operating system to the SSD and make it the primary. Took me 1/2 hour.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I upgraded to both a Evo 970 SSD 1TB (M.2 slot) for the primary drive and a EVO-860 SSD 1TB (SATA) for a storage drive. I'm using the OEM HDD for backups. The 970 runs 18 times faster than the stock HDD. Boots in 11 seconds.
