“I bought this pc as my first gaming pc. I have only one complaint just as many others....needs an ssd. so the question is what is the recommended ssd to put in this machine and does the pc have the cables to hook it up or should the ssd come with it?”

You will need a SATA cable. The computer will have the power connection, but you’ll need to get a separate SATA cable and there are only 2 other SATA ports on the motherboard as far as I could see.
