Yes both plug in and you do need seperate speakers. I didn't get a monitor with it so i couldn't tell you if that feature works. Hope this helps

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is a headphone jack. I use my turtle beach headset from my Xbox with it. The jack is on the top of the computer. It does not come with built in speakers, most don't.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There are no built-in speakers in this desktop. You can plug-in the smaller headphone jacks that go into tablets and phones. Most people just buy external speakers if there monitor doesn't have any speakers. The cost of external speakers can be cheap or expensive.
