The included 256gb SSD is a M.2 drive. The second M.2 port on the motherboard is occupied by the WLAN module. To add an additional HDD or SSD, you will need to do so via a SATA III cable. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hey Jake! You are correct, the SSD is an M.2 PCIE. There is not an available PCIE slot for an adapter card, however, there is an empty 3.5" cage for an SSD drive there.
