The computer should not be reserving so much memory for itself. If this happens it may be due to the RAM not connected properly or in the wrong slots. For instance, on my 16GB maching only 48.6 MB is reserved.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Most of your gaming performance is in the GPU not the RAM and this machine has a dedicated graphics card to do just that an Nvidia 1060 I think. Adding more RAM will not significantly increase game speed but adding a more powerful graphic card will. Dollar for dollar spending money on graphics card not RAM is the wise choice. I have machines with 8/16/32/64 GB of RAM and the only "HUGE" difference in game speed is moving from 8 to 16 after that it's pretty much up to the video card, not to say there is no performance boost but it's small in comparison to what the video card can do for you. So you will see a huge bump in performance from not only the bump in RAM from 8 to 16 but the addition of the Nvidia graphics card.
