Page 20 in the booklet says to select the User ID (1 or 2) that you want to delete. Press the memory button (symbol with sheet of paper and pencil) and then press this button again, holding it down while pressing the Start/Stop button and holding it for more than 3 seconds. I haven't tried it since I haven't wanted to delete my history.
