A:AnswerYes, you need an amplifier or tuner that has a built in amp. You also will need an audio cable. Make sure your amp has rca style input plugs. Hopefully this helps.
A:AnswerNo HDMI port. This is a CD player only, no video or amplifier functions. If your soundbar accepts line level audio input, which is usually via a pair of RCA jacks, then you could probably make a go of it.
