- Answer I think they must be because there are no controls. But it's really good. People says it gets those mid-range sounds and that may be why it sounds so much better than my Sony.

- Answer I have a JVC, but I don't think it matters. Don't worry about that special connection. It sounds good with regular RCA connection.

- Answer Onkyo - 6-Disc CD Player - Black $179.99 YES!!!!!! We love it, We finally found one that does what our old one did in the 70's haha. It will shuffle cd's , All's you do is hit the button "RANDOM" on the cd player and it will go from like cd 2 song 4, to cd 6 song 8 to cd 1 song 14 and so on....WE LOVE IT!!!! It just takes a bit longer in between songs than our OLD one did. haha But worth the $$$$!!!!!

- Answer Yes, it depends if your TV has a open stereo audio input port- either RCA, Digital Cable or the preferred Fiber Optic. Plug it in and select that port as the source. It would be the same as connecting a DVD/Blue-ray player except no video. I would recommend a home theater system form Best Buy's Magnolia audio sales to really enjoy you video and audio experience..
