Hello Equalizer, You can hook up the eq to the TXNR6100, but you would only be able to equalize one device not the whole receiver. The device would have to be connected to the EQ input and then you would connect the output of the EQ to go into the input of the receiver (except Phono). If you had one of the older receivers that had the amp in and pre-out connections, then you would be able to equalize all the devices that were connected to the receiver instead of just one device.
