• Yes, you can. I had, roughly, did the same thing by replacing my nine-year-old Onkyo model. However, I will be honest and let it be known that I have not yet used the Bluetooth feature of this model.

• Yes you can. It will upsample legacy video formats. It will also have a lot more capabilities than the old one.

• Yes, I had an onkyo that was probably 15 years old and I replaced it with the model you're asking about. It is a really good replacement, sound quality is great.
