It only shows dolby atmos as an option if the source is actually Dolby atmos. Some Uhd and Blu ray movies have the codec and some Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney plus offerings as well. Look for the Dolby Atmos indicator on the disk box or in the description of the movie on a streaming service. You also need to be using your hdmi input from the source. You have plenty of hdmi inputs on the receiver so you shouldn't have to use your tv as a hub. Just use the arc hdmi slot to connect the TV with the receiver in order to have both respond to the same remote. Hope that helps.
