• If you can sacrifice one of the RCA inputs labeled CD, STRM BOX, CBL/SAT, BD/DVD s/b good for playback. But if you're looking to record you should look for a receiver with a tape monitor loop capability. You may want to investigate separate Pre-amp, Amp for that flexibility and functionality.

• yes, there are 5 pairs of rca input connectors, 1 for phono, and 4 more for whatever you choose
