I originally tried to use this case with the Otterbox AlphaGlass shield, which is a fortified glass cover that perfectly fits the S8 screen. It was so thick, however, that the Defender case could not stay snapped together. I returned the glass shield and now the case is staying tightly snapped. I suspect other brands of formed glass shields would have the same problems due to their thickness.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No you can't use any screen protector on this one. The case is tight so the glass protector would get pushed off. I tried it myself. On the box of the case it says screenless protection.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The best glass screen protectors when using a case are those that leave a bit of space around the sides. Otherwise any case can put pressure on the edges and you'll lose touch sensitivity along the sides of the screen.
