• The case has raised edges on the narrow top and bottom of the screen which raises the screen just shy of 1/8 inch from a flat surface, if its lying face down.(Room for a quarter) This feature allows the edge lighting by phone for silent notifications to be visible.

• Looks like it touches. Dropping it and having the force from the fall would most likely ensure contact with the penny, possibly the table. Still the best case ive had on mine

• It does not touch the penny nor the table, however if you drop the phone on an uneven surface the raised edges will not help at all.

• The screen does not touch a flat surface face down on its own. It does not touch a penny or a quarter (I literally tried both).

• The case DOES have a raised bezel No the screen does NOT touch the penny and when laid on a flat surface face down desk, table etc the screen STILL does NOT touch the surface....you can actually see the light from your screen when laid on a flat surface AND can even slide a piece of paper or envelope under it while it’s faced down, hopes this helps
