“Can you please tell me how much space is need around this microwave ( left/right sides and top/back) to vent properly? Also does this microwave vent from the side or the back? Thank you.”

Our microwave sits in a small space that measures 32" wide x 24" deep x 16" high. We have about 6 inches on each side and 5" from the top and 4" from the back of microwave to the wall for venting. The microwave vents to the back. Hope this helps.

If you place it on a countertop, allow 3 inches of space on both sides/back of the oven and 1 inch (2.5 cm) of space on top of the oven. The external air vent is on the back and the exhaust air vent is on the left side towards the back. -M
