- Answer You can register with nomorobo with Verizon and they will block unwanted numbers. I have this service and I have no complaints. It's not perfect but it's so close.

- Answer We bought this for my Mother-in-law as a gift because she lives alone. I believe they are rechargeable AA Batteries but do not recall for sure. The handsets seem to last all day after charging at night. She is a fairly heavy phone user.
