A battery is included, a memory card is not. This is pretty much standard. Some dealers throw in free accessories (one current offering has the GX85 & two lens kit with a 64GB memory card, holster bag, UV filter, & cleaning kit -- all for $2 less than Best Buy's current price), so perhaps use that information to negotiate a price reduction or free accessories from Best Buy.
