“I purchased and hooked-up a Panasonic Blu-ray Model: DP-UB420-K yesterday. Watched a couple things on Netflix last evening. Today the unit top feels warm to the touch, is that normal or should I return it for a replacement? Thanks.”

Normal, had mine for a month, works fine.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same model. Same issue. There’s distance between it and my receiver and thought my pioneer was overheating. Dangerously hot, hotter then any PC, anything. I unplugged it because it’s been making me so nervous. Even moved it, same issue.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you have this unit in an enclosed area, you need to put it in a place where fresh air can get to it. That is likely what's causing the heating issue. It's like taking the radiator off your car and then running it around town. It's gonna overheat. It needs air, so that the fan can work properly at keeping the unit cool.
