• I have never had an issue with noise from this computer. you may want to get some tech support or check warrenty. may be a lemon

• It is hard to say for sure. The only noises could be from the hard drive or any cooling systems. Perhaps take it to the store to be looked at or maybe reaching out to the HP support team for troubleshooting.
