• I had the same problem but all I had to do was unplug the cord that connects the controller to the Xbox and plug it back in. Hope this helps.

• Buying beats is a big mistake firstly. Cheap headphones I've heard breaking. Cheap as in , cheap materials to make those expensive headphone.
