Weighs about the same or less than the Breville Barista but it's plastic not stainless steel which weighs more in general. We like how easy it is to use and how there's a lot less to clean up afterwards compared to the Breville Barista so we ended up returning the Breville Barista for this machine but both make really good tasting coffee we're just lazy and wanted a more automated less clean up machine even though the Breville might be made better IDK? but for what we wanted we prefer this machine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't see how the weight of the machine would indicate the quality of the build. I would say it has a good build quality. It is mostly plastic but the tray is a nice quality metal. In addition, the plastic casing is well shaped and doesn't feel flimsy. It shows that alot of thought went into the design of this machine. Considering this is an entry level super automatic machine and the top of the line versions go for 3k-5K I think you get more than you pay for. However, I know alot of the brevilles are all metal so they look nice and shiny. You will not get that look with this machine, but again I don't think that is a good indication of the quality of the build. I'm sure the exact weight of the machine is in the specs but if I had to guess it's around 30-40 pounds.
