• They're 60w equivalent, not 60w. You can leave them on for a month and touch your cheek to the bulb, it's room temp. Yes I've done this and own dozens of this exact bulb

• I believe the information is reversed in the specification details. Consumption should be 10Watts and incandescent equivalent 60Watts.

• I am not sure about the wattage usage part but these are cool to the touch even when they have been on for hours and are very bright when turned up all the way.
