It is not recommended. They are not weather proof. Extreme temperatures will reduce their lifespan. They’re also not meant for fully enclosed fixtures

Absolutely I have 4 color changing bulbs outside

I have one in my front porch light. Just make sure the fixture is not enclosed. Mine is open at the bottom.
