• You can control Hue lights through Bluetooth from your phone(if you only have a few), or from the Hue Hub via the Hue app(via WiFi).

• This is Wi-Fi technology. The app does allow user to set-up for control from "outside" you Wi-Fi network. So while there is no direct "5G" connection to your lighting, you could use a 5G phone data connection to access the HUE bridge while away from your network. The app allows you to enable or disable this function.
