• You wouldn't be able to take the clips/guides off and immediately reattach them to something else, you would need to replace the double sided tape which is pretty simple overall if you ever had to move them.

• It comes with 5 clips total, (3 Straight and 2 Corner Pieces). The clips can be used on pretty much any surface I'd say; they're very sticky. You can even pull them off a few times and re-stick them if you decide to move it. But they will lose their stickiness eventually if you keep Re-removing them.
