Yes, I believe that you would.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you can use the Amazon hub.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, but you would need the hub, from what I understand, to do anything more than basic on/off and brightness level operations. Color themes, etc, all require a hub to manage, if I am not mistaken.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use the Echo Plus/Echo Show’s built in hub to control your lights in general as Turning on/off, change common colors as blue, green, yellow, red...etc. However without the Philips Hub and applications you won’t have the access to the 16 million colors, scheduling time, routines and other options that is available.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As I understand it, if you have the ECHO PLUS or the ECHO SHOW, you do not need the Phillips bridge/hub. You will not be able to get the different variations of the many colors without the bridge/hub, just the basic colors, ie: Red, Blue, Green, Purple, etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. The bulbs only work with the bridge
