They’ll work on a dimmer switch. I have several dimmer switches in my house and my bulbs work fine. You’ll need to set your dimmer switch to full on and then control them from the app. Some people don’t like having to use an app to control them all the time. I also use Alexa so we can verbally turn them on and off which makes it easy if your smart device isn’t nearby.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will work on a regular dimmer switch, but you need to have it at 100% or else it will flicker. You can use the app/homekit/etc to dim it, or get the Hue switch.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My understanding is that they can work if the switch is on max, but per Philips support is NOT recommended and can sometimes behave erratically when connected to this type of device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No they can work on any switch just need to make sure the switch is always on or in the case of a dimmer all the way up then just control it from the app
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can put it on a non-Philips switch however, the switch has to always be on and at 100%. I prefer the Philips Hue dimmer switch.
