If you have either unit sold by Best Buy, Just keep it plugged in. Both units sold by Best Buy do not have rechargeable batteries so they must remain plugged in. If you want one with a rechargeable battery so that you don't have to keep it plugged in, you have to buy the Phonesoap to go. It's $99.99 at Phonesoap. It also comes with a fast charging exterior USB port and a C cable port to recharge your phone outside to the case and it's portable. Beware, the "move, up" unit that Best Buy sells has both ports but they both charge at a slow charge rate. Making that feature useless.
