Yes, you plug your phone cord into the supplied usb input and then plug in your phone. If you have an iPhone then Apple car play will come up, if you have an Android then android auto will start up. From there just click on the map icon and your maps will be displayed on the screen

All work perfectly. plus there is an added bonus, with iPhone and siri, you can do "hey siri, find autozone" and she will search the web and pull up directions - but also the phone number and all that. normally she wont let you surf the web while driving, but its a nice little work around.

I can use my Android phone for directions but when I plug it into the head unit it can start up but then loses GPS in a few seconds. Nobody can seem to figure out the answer if you have a solution let me know

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I have an iPhone so I used their maps app. If you have android you will use google maps. I like that the voice command volume can be set separate from main volume and when giving directions it temporarily lowers the music volume.
