A great radio for 399. Bought mines June 15th and it had a production date of 5/18. Used the free install option with geek squad. I priced matched everything I wanted to use with the install in my 17 Ram 1500. I wanted to retain all factory options so i had the Maestro RR unit installed with the attatchments for media usb, xm, factory antenna and steering wheel controls. I now am able to see what door I have open, tire pressure, gauges and even battery/engine codes right from the radio. Apple CarPlay works flawlessly. Make sure you are using an actual Apple cable. Being able to ask Siri to turn my home thermostat on right from my radio is pretty cool. Awesome sound and eq adjustments available. I went and hooked up a backup and front camera, yes it has two AV inputs for this. Can’t comment on longevity but for now everything works great.

Works great, it's fast, tons of features, improves the sound. Wish it had navigation. The screen glare is horrible. I have a tinted windshield and all windows are tinted, no matter what display settings I have, on a sunny day you can't see anything except finger prints.

I purchased this product for my 2008 Chevy Impala. Best Buys team professionally installed it in less than one hour. The 50x4 watts of power makes me look foward to listening to my car tunes every day & even on factory speakers. With Apple/ Android Auto Play & voice commands, I can listen to music, get directions, make & receive phone calls without ever taking my eyes off the road. The bluetooth comes in handy for listening to all my preset playlists & phone contacts.. Plus if you have kids the DVD player will come in handy for playing DVD movies. With a simple interface (sold separately) you will not lose the factory installed ability to ffw song selection, turn volume up-down & select which source you want to play from "All" from the Steering Wheel. It also has the capability for front & back cameras ( cameras sold separately) This is hands down the "BEST" after market car stereo Ive ever purchased.. You will not be disappointed

Easy install. Great sounding stereo. Easy display and great Apple CarPlay interface. Display themes change the look of the stereo. Haven’t connected the brake and shifter connections required for rear facing camera.

The Apple CarPlay mode with this device is extremely user friendly and easy to navigate. Connects to your Spotify, Waze, Google maps and more all on one touch. The touch sensitivity on the screen is very on point, no lag at all. DVD picture is high quality and easy on the eyes in regards to the screen size. I am particular when it comes to the quality of buttons in a machine. Personally, I thought the feeling and quality of the material of the buttons are potentially long lasting and durable. I love this product of Pioneer!

Absolutely great radio I highly recomend ....easy to use with plenty of options..easy to adjust and great back up camera. The pioneer 2330 is truly on of the best

So I am an iPhone user, and the compatibility from my phone to this radio is set up perfectly! It is easy to use and the functionality of this radio is very efficient. I like how the most used apps and programs appear on the side once you sync your phone to “Car-Play”. I would def recoupment this radio to those who want the Apple compatibility as well as something simple.

Purchased with the backup camera and installation at Best Buy. All my friends remark on how great this radio sounds and the Apple CarPlay integrated into the unit is a real convenience. The sound is good and solid, the backup camera is perfect, and the HD Radio shows a photo of the album being played and the name of the song and artist. There is an automatic Best Station scan option which is great when traveling through several towns/cities. It picks the 6 strongest signals and stores them in selection tabs 1-6. Can store up to 18 FM stations and up to 18 AM stations. I did not experience extreme glare on the control panel as another review mentioned. It is bright and clear at all times, so I guess the location of the unit must have a lot to do with that.

I bought this for my adult daughter's early 2000's car, with back up camera (ND-BC8) and I purchased geek squad installation for both, even though I am proficient at installing radios. This is an excellent unit that actually works better than what was equipped in the new car I purchased in 2017. She uses it with apple car play primarily and the connection to Google/Apple/Pandora. etc. for which it works perfectly and sounds great (big improvement over stock radio). The radio does in fact have HD Radio built in, and reception quality is excellent. SURI makes use of phone, etc. effortless... so one can answer/make a calls / texts without being distracted hands free by voice. You have access to maps etc. through apple car play as well so it gives you a built in GPS system to guide you with clear audio. Geek squad installation was excellent, and this car had a few challenges that made me happy to get it. I got the warranty, so installation is nice since they will take it out and put it back if you have any problems. I researched radios a long time before purchasing and waited for this specific model for about 6mo since it has HD radio, does NOT have a removable face (like AVH-4201NEX), supports both apple and android, and a long list of other features.

At first when I had this unit installed, I was kind of disappointed as it did not have the functions as I was expecting. Once I started to learn about the different features and how to use them, I like it now. At first I thought is was like mirrorlink where it mirror's your phone but Android Auto and Apple Play are different as the limit the apps that are available during driving for safety and ease of use. The sound quality is much improved from my existing speakers after this radio though I think I should have installed a signal booster. After usage I find this radio to be really good and with the sale and free installation, it was well worth it. I recommend it but just keep in mind your apps will be limited.

This model, AVH-2330 NEX has HD radio, unlike the AVH-2300 NEX, and is compatible with  iPhones as well as Android phones, unlike the AVH-1330 NEX. It has a slightly larger screen than the 1330 and the controls are at the bottom versus on the side. The screen folds down with the push of a button to access the CD/DVD player, and can be tilted up or down for a better view, depending where it is installed in the dash. It will also accommodate two cameras. Although more expensive, I upgraded to this radio from the 1330 for the larger screen. I am very pleased with it so far. I would highly recommend Geek Squad Auto Tech install, which was free with purchase, because it is done professionally with a lifetime warranty on the installation. Beware though, as the parts for the installation were around $200, with labor free.

This radio was a very nice upgrade to the factory radio in my 10 year old truck. After 10 years of using different methods of wired, and eventually Blue Tooth connections, for music from iPods and iPhones, and having usually poor results, this radio does everything that I wanted it to do. The sound quality of MP3 music in my truck is now almost CD quality. The cabled Apple Play connection sounds the same as the Blue Tooth connection. Car Play works like it is supposed to as well. I have had no issues with anything for the two weeks that I have been using the unit. I am so pleased with it that I bought another one for my wife’s vehicle. This unit has plenty of features to help you integrate it seamlessly into any vehicle and meet almost all of your personal needs.

My wife is very happy with the Pioneer AVH-2330NEX. She was a little jealous of the Sound System in my car so I bought her this HU for Christmas. She is very happy with the quality of sound and all the options; Backup Camera, XM Radio, Bluetooth, App Radio, Pandora, Spotify, Maestro Steering Wheel Controls.... she loves it! One last thing; Back-Up Camera, XM Receiver and Maestro SW are sold separately. And installation is not for those technically challenged. I installed it myself, but I have an engineering background.

I bought this for my wife for Christmas - primarily for her to use with Waze. The Apple Car Play Integration is very good, but Android Auto seems to have more functionality. The biggest frustration was the wait for the install, but on the upside the installers were very good and helpful. My wife loves the screen size and the customization options. I also bought the Sirius XM tuner to add on and had all factory steering wheel controls retained and the factory backup camera integrated. The other add on was I had the Aux input jack swapped out for an Aux/USB input jack that makes the Apple Car Play/Androis Auto connections much easier right on the dash. One important note, since the wait was about three weeks for the install, I got a list from the Beat Buy team member of all installations cables, etc that were needed and bought them from Amazon and saved about half the cost!!

We had this installed in our vehicle a few weeks back and it works brilliantly! Exactly as described, the unit works with Apple CarPlay with no problem and also works with App Radio Live. There is also Android Auto built in, but we are an Apple household. Overall, it's easy to use, sounds great, and is a good bargain considering how much you get with it. Overall, it's pretty awesome!
