Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Absolutely no! You need a ND filter that cuts at least 10 stops or a solar filter specifically intended to shoot solar eclipses. Using anything else will end frying your sensor or your eyes.

Only buy 'sun' filters specifically made for observing the direct Sun and make sure it is purchased from a REPUTABLE dealer. Your Camara's computer will also be endangered by the sun's rays.
