Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Windows Vista is the operating system (the OS is software) that runs on your computer. Your computer's hardware (upon which Windows Vista is running) typically includes one or more Universal Serial Bus (USB) ports which you can plug flash drives (and other external hardware like a disk drive and a printer) into. Look for those kinds of devices and see the end of the cable that they have that's plugged into the computer, if you have them. That will tell you if you have any free (unused) USB ports. As far as software (Vista) compatibility, if Vista is running correctly, these USB flash drives are completely compatible with Vista. If you plug one of these USB drives into your computer's unused USB ports on the computer, Vista will recognize it quickly without any action required on your part. You can then use it as you would any disk drive - Vista will assign it its own drive letter so that you can transfer files back and forth.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Do you mean the operating system, like windows 7 or windows 10, vista, etc? That would just be your operating system if you mean "windows vista". The ports are located on your desktop, or laptop, etc, depends on the brand where they are located. Some are in front of the PC and some brands are in the back. HTH
