A:Answer I can’t answer the question for long term storage. This is after all a thumb drive at its core. As it’s made by PNY, I would expect similar reliability.
What can be expected is a pretty straight forward experience transferring files to/from IOS devices to pretty much any other device that can read a Thumb drive.
The only hiccup I noticed is the small IOS app that is needed to use it on IOS. It is not totally intuitive, Bhutto works.
The other thing I noticed is that the file moves to the drive seem to be a little on the slow side. I suspect this is due to the IOS app interface.
Overall, In spite of the interface & speed concerns, it has been a great tool to transfer files and I would recommend it.
