A:Answer Unfortunately it's happening at most locations. No way to tell unless you know someone who works there though. When there's money to be made at the bottom of the corporate pyramid, it's not going to be passed up when there's 0 benefit from not taking advantage of that opportunity :(
The Pokemon Company needs to print enough to meet the demand, but until they do, this is what we (fans of the brand and tcg) get to go through until they fix this problem they've created. Resellers & investors have always been in the hobby, but with demand superceding supply 100 fold, we have had a huge influx of scalpers come into the space because it's lucrative. When supply meets demand again, they will go back to sneakers or some other bs they can take advantage of. Unfortunately, it's going to be quite a WHILE. Maybe next year we will be able to walk into stores again and be able to see shelves stocked with product like we could last year.... :( It really sucks right now
